friday fail

Ok, I usually don't pay attention to mainstream "music" media and celeb culture crap. That said, I got this "song" in my email box from a friend as a happy Friday giggle. Someone please tell me that this is a joke!

HAHAHAH it's no joke! Or rather sadly, the joke's on her (and us).
The girl "Rebecca Black" and the terrible song she did with a production company to springboard her to 'stardom' have become a laughingstock. A bazillion hits on Youtube.
Good news for Rebecca is the old adage "any publicity is good publicity", and she's super famous now. Famous for crap, but so is Kim Kardashian, so....

Once you've heard it though, you won't get it out of your head. >.<
It's awful.

Happy Friiieeedayyy :D

Yep, it's for real. Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert made fun of it awesomely:

I'd hadn't bothered to watch this so far but I'm glad I finally did as I've learned some of the days of the week.

margelaene: I am with you there!

Medusae: That dastardly song even made its way into my dreams Friday night. Thankfully there is the song "Friday I'm in Love", or that day of the week may have been tainted forever.

Sarah: Hehe, thanks for the link! Colbert makes it all better.

Beks: LOL. Edjumication is good, no? ;)
